Sunset Grafted American Persimmon
(Diospryros virginiana) Zone 4-9
American Persimmon trees are either male or female, and only the females will produce fruit. Sunset, a Bass Pecan Nursery introduction, is from a mother tree that produces heavy crops of fruit that normally drop from November to December. The grafted trees should be planted with seedling trees for pollination. They should start producing in 3 to 4 years. Sunset is excellent for wildlife habitat, especially for whitetail deer.

Since we are dealing with a living tree, the availability of certain sizes and quantities fluctuate on a seasonal basis. We will be in touch with each of those who order to verify and make any necessary order changes. All orders are fully refundable if we do not have your tree in stock and a suitable replacement size is not available.
