Double GG Mayhaw

Double GG is a cross between Texas Star and Royal Star.  The fruit is dark red and averages .75 inch.  It is shatter resistant and has uniform ripening.  Peak bloom is around March 10^th and the fruit ripens about May 10^th.  The tree has a good natural form, needs little pruning and has few thorns.  It has a slight susceptibility to fireblight.
