Fuyu Persimmon

Fuyu is a Japanese non-astringent persimmon. It is a self-fruitful heavy producer of apple-shaped almost seedless fruit that will bear at a very young age. Fruit begins to ripen in late October but will hang on the tree until November and December. The fruit has an excellent flavor. Deer will readily consume them when they fall from the tree. Fuyu is a small tree.
