King David Apple

King David is from Arkansas around 1893. It is thought to be a cross between Jonathan and Winesap. The fruit is medium to large, pale green and overlaid with dark red stripes. The firm yellow flesh is crisp and juicy. It is good for fresh eating, cooking and cidermaking. King David is very disease resistant and a late bloomer.
