Ragan Mulberry

(Morus rubra) Zone 6-9

A Pecan Hill Farms introduction, Ragan is a red mulberry selection from the wild. It produces a nice crop of large fruit that drops over an extended period of time. Fruit is very dark, almost black in color. Grafted trees should produce fruit by the second year. Requires a pollinator.
