Tennousi Pear

Tennousi, a hybrid cross of a European pear and an Asian pear, originated in Texas. Fruit is large, round and russeted. It has the flavor of a European pear with the crisp and juicy texture of an Asian pear. The cut flesh stays white and does not turn brown. It is very resistant to fire blight and does best with a pollinator.
